Thermage: Hurts Like Heck!

Gore-Tex Lip Implant Removal: My Experience

removal.jpgI had always wanted fuller lips, and Gore-Tex was the most permanent, but removeable, option at the time.  I wasn’t willing to go the silicone route and I was tired of getting collagen injections.  Restylane wasn’t even remotely available at the time either.  My doctor suggested Gore-Tex, or more correctly GORE S.A.M. (subcutaneous augmentation material). This implant is made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) and comes in tubular and flat forms.  The facial implants are normally more tubular. Since the implant is solid and easily removable, I agreed to the surgery.

Which Breast Implants Are The Best Choice

I never will be, I don’t want to be, because there is simply no such thing.  Yes, one can know breast implants up, down, and sideways—but that doesn’t mean what they say is gospel as it pertains to YOU.  You can know and understand basic scientifc facts and figures—as well as statistics—but when it comes to your body, only you can determine what you prefer.  Unfortunately, not many of you will be able to realistically compare each implant type without having multiple surgeries, and why would you do that?
