Spotless Aging

While I am on the beach, my coworker and friend Beth Longware Duff has written a blog entry for us. Beth is a medical writer with NewImage.com and has written for many mewspapers and magazines. She has won awards for her medical writing, including the American Cancer Society Media Award. — Valerie

I’ve reached that stage in life (just north of 50) where I’ve begun to notice that some of the changes associated with – dare I say it? – aging are manifesting themselves in and on me. Now, I can deal with a little stiffness in the morning, I’ve adapted fairly well to bifocal lenses, and I’m working on that dab of middle age spread that’s made itself at home in my midsection. My Hat and I Head for the Beach

I am about to go on vacation. I will be spending a week lying on a beach on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, surrounded by family members. I can’t wait. This is the third year in a row that we have had a family reunion in North Carolina, with my brothers and sister and their kids and their kids’ kids coming in from four states. The past two years, it was 10 adults and 5 kids, all in one large house. This year, it will be 13 adults and 5 kids, all in one house. No one in my family is a bad cook and we take turns making dinner. We decided the first year that we did this that if nothing we did made the national news the vacation would be considered a success. I have a large, loving, loud, and rowdy extended family. Our family reunions have registered on the Richter scale in the past.

Wrinkle Smoothers Creams: How Do they Work and How Long Do They Last?

eye_fade.jpg

The joy of instant gratification is the enemy of patience. Unfortunately you can’t get the pay-off without the work, especially when it comes to beauty (unless, of course, you’re Jessica Alba). So when you see “instant face lift” or “timeless beauty in a bottle” – you may cringe like me because you know you are considering forking over $50 for yet another cream that will get pushed to the back of your cabinet. But do some work as they claim??

Kinerase Skin Care

kineraseprotherapy.jpgOut of all the skincare products out there, it is difficult to know what works and what does not.  Plus, to determine what works for us as individuals, we need to try the products ourselves, for at least 3 months or more.  Fortunately there are products which work faster than that.
