Public Letter About Damavava
I wanted to
let you all know that Damavava contacted me a few weeks ago, apologizing for
claiming my stories and photos as her own.
I feel that she is being very genuine in her apology and she takes full
responsibility for her actions I do not
feel that she was being malicious at all, in fact, her behavior (contacting me)
was quite noble. Her screen name could
have disappeared off the face of the Internet and returned as someone else with
none of us the wiser. But she chose
not to. She chose to face the music and
I greatly respect her for that.
Unbelievable: UK Woman Remortgages House to Afford Rhinoplasty
I can’t even believe what I am reading. A. If you have to remortgage your house to afford $8,000. You certainly don’t have enough money sitting around if complications arise. And B. Talk about your priorities.
What do you think?
Have You Ever Been Harassed Over Your Decision to Have Cosmetic Surgery?
Whether it is by your friends, your boss, or a perfect stranger. Has someone been so insensitive that they just had to open their mouth and make an unnecessary comment? Obviously having cosmetic surgery is a very personal and private decision (if you want it to be). So why is it that some people feel the need to gossip about it??
Then again, gossiping behind your back, if not already awful enough, is an entirely different story from harassment IN YOUR FACE. Just check out this breast implants forum post: This poor girl has been repeatedly badgered by her boss (who happens to be an attorney by the way) about her decision to have breast augmentation. She did not tell her co-workers before and chose not to tell anyone after. And what did he do, but march right up to her with a smug look on his face and ask her why, why, why? Like it is even remotely any of his business; his behavior is unforgivable. His comments over the next few weeks were shocking to me, especially as an employer and one in the know about sexual harassment suits these days—because that is exactly what he was doing.
An Ultimate Tanning Lotion Comparison Research
I was in the grocery store minding my own business when I was inexplicably struck by the irresistible urge to impulsively buy 5-types of sunless tanners. Four of them were the build-a-tan-daily lotions-plus-tanner variety (think of a watered-down, lotioned-up version of a sunless tanner) and one was a tanning gelee to compare depth of color. Now, I have never used daily tanning lotions before. I usually just use a standard sunless tanner and reapply every few days. However, I always wind up looking like a shedding snake no matter how much I exfoliate beforehand, and no matter how much I moisturize afterwards. And it can be quite apparent on my shins and outer, upper arms. Reapplying tanner after this point only makes matters worse for me, so I simply have to wait for it to exfoliate off and reapply two weeks later. So, I gave up. I haven’t used a sunless tanner in about 6 months.
BOTOX® Injections on a Cruise Ship?
What will they think of next? The ever popular Norwegian Cruise Line now offers BOTOX® Cosmetic to its passengers. All I can picture when I think of this is Doc from Love Boat injecting Mrs. Howell from Gilligan’s Island while the ship rocks back and forth from huge swells. And if the ship goes down, save the BOTOX®!
Not only does the cruise line offer BOTOX® to its passengers, they also offer Restylane and Perlane to fill lines, creases, and hollows. The cruise line‘s press release, states, “Guests can now return home from their cruise vacation looking and feeling rejuvenated.” And swollen, bruised and looking like fish if they get their lips injected Sriously, how many times have you hyaluronic acid hounds NOT had swelling after Resty or Perlane injections to the lips?
