Implants Are Semi-permeable: A 9 Month Volume Comparison

This is why the H2O evaporates from a closed saline implant.  Obviously the salt content will stay the same, as can be proven when the impant fully evaporates, there are salt crystals left over (I witnessed this with my first set).  Only the water evaporated out of the implant.  Your implants experience osmosis when in your body so the water volume never changes but it is essentially “refreshed” with the fluid exchange.  For more info on osmosis and breast implants see: http://www.breastimplants4you.com/breast_augmentation_complications_faq.htm#23.

This comparison is from 2 weeks removal, and 9 months post removal.

How can it be??
Osmosis law says that water passes from the region with less salt to the one more saline. Should I deduce that the breast tissue is more saline than the implant content?

btw, HAPPY 2K8 TO EVERYBODY!!!, especially you Marianne

you are correct! That is supposed to read osmosis. Not reverse, it got published before proofing. Good catch Marco!
