Welcome to my blog!
Hi! I’m Marianne Guarena and I’m here to help you and to support you in your “aesthetic journey.” Having plastic surgery is exciting, scary, and fulfilling all at the same time. It not only can change how other people see you … but how you see yourself—inside and out. I had my first enhancements almost a decade ago and these cosmetic surgeries not only re-shaped me physically, but they helped me to find my career niche.
I will be blogging about my plastic surgery before-and-after experiences and sharing all the medical knowledge that I gained. I am passionate about plastic surgery and the benefits it offers and hope that you enjoy my frank, straightforward approach.

Dear M,
i had fat grafted into my face 7 days ago, and i STILL look like a freak! i do not look like me at all. i was beautiful, but being 41, i wanted a little "filler" under my eyes, between my brows, and a tad on the nasolabial folds. my dr wanted to put some in my lips too, so i let him. I woke up with fat huge cheeks, huge lips and a gorilla brow! it has been a week and i am depressed looking at myself in the mirror. i miss what i used to look like. i feel ugly now. what should i expect?
PS you were always beautiful and never needed anything. trust me.
Wow :), finally you have your own blog (just added to my rss feed list)!!!
Christine,
Do not worry :) There is normally a lot of swelling associated with fat grafting. Having had f/g twice, I assure you that it does subside--unfortunately. In fact, you may wish to have more put in when it's all over and done with.
This pic is from 3 days post my last f/g on April 12. I barely had any injected at all.

Please let me know how your recovery progresses and check back in to give me an update :) I'd love to hear how you are doing.
Also, thank you so much for your compliments!

Marco! How are you doing, my dear? It is so good to see you here :) I haven't been checking my other email as much since I started this blog...and admittingly obsessing over my next jump.
When will you be gracing Beverly Hills with your presence? We can go play spot the boobjob on Rodeo :p
Hi M!
thanks so much for the comforting words and the pic!
wow, your lips were very swollen afterwards too! i looked like a duck. :)
well, it is now 2 weeks after f/g, and swelling went down more, but i still have fat cheeks. it is kinda depressing because i loved the way i looked before. i just wanted the hollows under my eyes filled in, not fat cheeks. do you think it will go down much more after this? i am actually looking forward to it going away, believe it or not. I think next time I'll just to Restlyn under the eyes.
Hey, i am visiting my sister next week in Vegas! i told her all about your site. it would be nice to meet you in person if you're in town.
Honestly, I was still swollen after f/g to my cheeks for more than 6 weeks. but I liked it, fortunately. Although it made me sad when it all dissipated :( At the 6 week mark after my first f/g was the golden moment that I always struggle to achieve again.
I would still not worry because the swelling with f/g can hang around for a while. It will get better :)
I am going to LV Wednesday through Friday. But I'm in LA after that...

Hi M!
well it is I, Christine again. It has been 6 mos since my f/g and ALL the swelling is gone, but the fat is gorgeous! i love it! Thanks for keeping me sane while I was freaking out. :) I will keep checking back to see what else you're doing and what I should expect for my future endeavors.
xo
See! Don't you just love it?? I am so glad to hear you are happy with your results :)))
I just has some Resty and Juvederm injected and am thrilled. I am about to go get a little more though.
Thank you for checking in with me :)
