Lip Plumpers: My Picks

lipslogo.jpgNot everyone has the desire, money, or time to get lip injections.  Even when I had lip implants, or injections I often used lip plumpers. I haven’t lately because my JuveDerm has lasted me forever, but I would again for sure if I needed a little more oomph!

So, which ones work?  Not all of them do what they claim, plus some are downright nasty to put on.  I am including a top 5 descending list from my experience so you don’t have to make the same mistakes that I have made.

5. Alex & Ani Serious Lip Plumper $25.00 *
4. DuWop Lip Venom 2nd Sin: Better than the original version, try it on at Sephora. $27.00 **
3. Too Faced Lip Injection - Fuller Lips: Gooey but great! Try it on at Sephora. $18.50 ***
2. Celebrity Sexy Lips $29.99 ****
1. And my personal favorite…Physician’s Complex Lip Enhancer: I have only found this online and in doctor’s offices.  Costs about $45.00 *****

Next I am going to try the SkinMedica Lip Plumpler System next!  I am excited about it as I have heard a lot of good things, including true long-lasting effects.  For more product reviews, please visit our Lip Plumper Review Section  http://lipaugmentation.com/lip_plumpers.htm

When everything else fails feel free to read my lip implant experience and learn more about lip augmentation procedure.

Hey M-

How are the final results of your gortex removal? Did you have any problems with scar tissue forming in place of the implants? Didn't you have a filler (alloderm?) put in at the same time the gortex was removed to help counter scar tissue? Glad life is going well for you & you've survived the variety of fires ! Casper

Hi Casper!

Dr Chia Chi Kao removed my Gore-tex in April and replaced it with fat. Although the fat did not last, I feel it probably helped with scar tissue contraction and eased the shock of being lipless.

My JuveDerm with Dr. Hoenig is still in my lips, so weird. Of course, some days I am more poofy than others, but this gives me new hope. I had thought about sili but I am getting so much wear out of the JuveDerm that I see no reason for it.

Thank you for your well wishes!
M

M- I've tried SkinMedica plumpers, and they are ok, but not as good as Lip Fusion, in my opinion. The gloss that comes with the SkinMedica is great, though - very shiny, and it leaves a really nice, natural pink tone. The plumper burns more than others, but I found that it wore off much more quickly.

I wore the Too Faced Lip Injection today and WHEW it burned. But I was all bee-stung looking!! Very line-free, plump and rosy.

My boyfriend didn't understand why I was doing it so I am making him try it on tonight to get feedback. That is what he gets for messing with me this morning.
