Kinerase Skin Care

kineraseprotherapy.jpgOut of all the skincare products out there, it is difficult to know what works and what does not.  Plus, to determine what works for us as individuals, we need to try the products ourselves, for at least 3 months or more.  Fortunately there are products which work faster than that.

My skin is in relatively good shape and I realize I do not yet need the big guns.   I just know that when I use Kinerase, my skin does look a lot better—more supple, smoother, plumper.  Although I do like to occasionally use deep exfoliation products to freshen my skin, I do like to use a simple moisturizer that can do a little more than simply moisturize.

Kinerase claims that the high concentration of kinetin is responsible for the visible improvement.  Kinetin is a plant-based extract which is said to increase the moisture content in the skin and help counter daily moisture loss.  Kinetin is what ia found in leaves and is responsible for keeping the leaves from drying out.

Unfortunately skydiving, especially in the winter, dries out my skin considerably.  Yesterday I made 8 jumps and it was 48 F degrees on the ground (about 15-20 degrees or less at altitude), I slathered lotion on repeatedly when I got home.  My poor face was scaly and dry and I looked 10 years older.  Or, I actually looked my age HAHA!  I am out of Kinerase, so I really would have appreciated it last night!  I am presently testing out some Aveeno skincare products and honestly I don’t notice anything. Kinerase would have made my skin much happier. Kinerase helps restore the moisture I lose with my daily life’s activities, and helps condition my skin to retain that moisture.  I usually use the light lotion with SPF 30, as my skin is a slightly oily to normal.  The cream is a little too heavy for me.

Kinerase recently came out with their Pro+Therapy line which contains zeatin, or what they call a next generation extract made from plant RNA.  I think I am going to try these products next.  The line consists of a cleanser, an advanced repair serum, a night repair cream, a day repair cream, and a mask.  I think I will start out with the cleanser, serum and night repair cream.

If anyone has tried Kinerase Lotion or Cream or Kinerase’s New Pro-Therapy line, let me know! I’d love to hear your feedback.

I love kinerase products, particularly the Instant Radiance peel pads. They are supposed to be for anti aging, but are also great for keeping breakouts at bay. Whenever I start to get one of those 'bumps' that you jut know is going to turn into a blemish, I start using this. Most of the time, it stops the whole cycle in its tracks. Great product!

I'm going to have to try those! God know I have a 'tumor' on my nose that could have using some stopping before it blossomed.

Thanks for the tip, Jean :)

Any suggestions for acne prone aging skin?

I have acne prone skin and will be 36 next month so essentially I have what you describe. I just ordered Proactiv for a review, but for anti-aging: Diet (high in antioxidants), Maybe Retin A or Vitamin C serums? I would try posting on the forum http://talk.spectacularskin.com/Index.do

They are waaaaaay better at explaining what is best for what than I ever could be. My skin looks awful right now so you don't want to listen to me! ha!
