Wrinkle Smoothers Creams: How Do they Work and How Long Do They Last?

The joy of instant gratification is the enemy of patience. Unfortunately you can’t get the pay-off without the work, especially when it comes to beauty (unless, of course, you’re Jessica Alba). So when you see “instant face lift” or “timeless beauty in a bottle” – you may cringe like me because you know you are considering forking over $50 for yet another cream that will get pushed to the back of your cabinet. But do some work as they claim??
Kinerase Skin Care
Out of all the skincare products out there, it is difficult to know what works and what does not. Plus, to determine what works for us as individuals, we need to try the products ourselves, for at least 3 months or more. Fortunately there are products which work faster than that.
Strivectin-SD - No Comparison to Botox
I remember the hype revolving around this product years ago. It was being touted as the miracle for stretchmarks. I had received a free tube to review and began applying it liberally to some very slight stretchmarks I had. Weeks had gone by with nothing more than smoother skin, but only just after I had applied the product as it is pretty greasy in my opinion.
Restylane Injections: Why I Love Them
I have been getting Restylane (and/or Perlane) injections since 2002, well before Restylane was approved in the US. I have to say there is nothing like an immediate pick-me-up procedure to put you in a good mood
Although I have had Restylane injections in the lips, vermilion border, philtral ridges, and nasolabials I completely love getting it injected under my eyes (see photo). This placement can make a huge difference in your appearance if you are growing hollow. With the use of a topical anesthetic like LMX (Ferndale) beforehand, the pain is very minimal, if at all.
Botox: How Often Should You Get It
Many of you may wonder just how many times per year one should get Botox, or how many times one can get Botox before it
becomes unsafe. Regarding efficacy, the average length of time between Botox injections is between 4 and 9 months. Obviously, the range will vary from person to person, but the manufacture (Allergan) suggests injections every 4 months as the most effective suggestion in the average patient. Based upon my experience, I feel this time frame is best for me as well.
